EAST GALESBURG - Toni Rae Kenan, 38, of 532 Goodsill Drive, East Galesburg, died 12:10 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at home.
She was born March 28, 1970, in Peoria, the daughter of Glen D. and Sherry R. Ledbetter Glas. She married Richard A. "Rick" Kenan March 28, 1993, in Galesburg.
Surviving are her parents, Glen and Sherry Glas of Galesburg; a son, Kole A. Kenan of Galesburg; a daughter, Maddie A. Kenan of Galesburg; a brother, Sean Glas of Galesburg; a grandmother, Betty J. Ledbetter of Galesburg; father- and mother-in-law Richard "Dick" and Carol Kenan of Galesburg; and also aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her special friend, Dave Appell.
She graduated from Martin County High School in Stuart, Fla., in 1988 and graduated from Monmouth College, Monmouth Ill.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Church of Galesburg.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Corpus Christi Church, with the Rev. William Miller officiating. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.

LICATA, Scott Lorin, 37, of Fishersville, Va., died Saturday July 1, 2006, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Born December 3, 1968, in Silver Spring, Md., he was the son of Ginger Moller and Peter Licata. Scott served in the Persian Gulf War aboard the USS Richmond K. Turner while on active duty in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alecia L. Licata; two sisters, Cindy Licata, her children Rebekah and Kacey Dzidek, her fiance, John Roberts III, and his son, John Roberts IV, and Katie Bengaard and her husband, Erik; his brother, Brian Licata, and his fiancee, Jessica Ford; his grandmother, Caroline Moller; brother, Andrew Licata; stepsisters, Jacqueline and Heather Giddings; stepmother, Elaine Licata; his in-laws, Steven and Sandra Wolfe, and William and Sandra Geiger, and their children William Geiger and his wife, Diane, and Larry Geiger and his wife, Yvette, and their children, Matt, Joey and Samantha; and his beloved poodles, Rumsey and Perry. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Allison Catherine Miraglia-Willson, 37, OF Fort Pierce, FL, died December 20th at her home. Born May 19, 1970 in Denver, CO, she was a resident of Fort Pierce for several years. Allison was a loving and thoughtful daughter, a warm, kind and giving friend, with a smile that would make a rainbow jealous. She was so loved by all who knew her. Allison was a fierce advocate for the humane treatment of all God's creatures, especially cats and dogs. She owned and operated Allison's Pet Palace in Fort Pierce for the past two years. Survivors include her husband Stephen D. Willson of Fort Pierce, FL; her mother Eileen Dooley Miraglia of Palm City, Fl; her father and stepmother Dr. Vincent and Billye Miraglia of Stuart, FL; her sister Meredith Miraglia of Santa Barbara, CA; her brother Vincent E. Miraglia of San Diego, CA; three stepbrothers Charles Berkey of Stuart, FL, Chris Berkey of Huntsville, AL, and William Berkey of Nashville, TN. Her aunt Honey Dooley Winters and cousins Winnie, Guy and Greg of New Jersey; her cousins Courtney Allinson Arnot of NY, Bradford Allinson of MA, and Ed Allinson of NJ. Mark P. Shidel, 37, died July 26, 2007, at his home. He was born in McKeesport, Pa., and lived in Jensen Beach for the past 26 years, coming from his birth place. He was a restaurant manager for many various establishments in the Martin County and St. Lucie County areas during over his career. Survivors include his parents, Paul J. and Karen D. Shidel of Jensen Beach; daughter, Abigail Shidel of Palm Coast; and brother, Scott J. Shidel of Kissimmee. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 1 in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart. HEATHER ANN VIRTA Heather Ann Virta, aged 38, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. She was a woman with a big heart full of love and joy for all that knew her. Heather resided in Norcross, Georgia. She graduated from Martin County High School in 1988 and Indian River Community College in 1990. She is survived by her mother, Roberta Virta, of Stuart, Florida; her father, Terry Virta, and his wife Mary McKinney of Rivera Beach, Florida; her sister, Cheryl Virta, with her husband Casey Steel and their children Chase and Chelsea of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by her grandmother Violet Virta of Duluth, Minnesota as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. We all will miss her with very heavy hearts. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Stuart Florida. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Joseph's Mercy Foundation, 5637 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Suite 650, Atlanta, GA 30342 are encouraged.
